Kids say the funniest things!

Have you ever noticed that kids just say really funny stuff.I was just sitting here listening to Shaiann and Brandon argue, well, they were calling each other names actually and Brandon said to Shaiann "Oh yea! Well, you are The Easter Bunny!"Shaiann just started busting up laughing.Brandon did too,I guess he didn't realize that, that just wasn't the insult that he wanted. It just came out.
We had a little incident last week.Brandon brought his spelling test home and as I looked through it I noticed that his teacher respelled one of his words, when I looked at the word that he spelled my first thought was "OH MY GOSH!!!I hope she doen't think that we talk like that!"Brandon spelled the word future completely wrong instead he spelled another word that starts with F!That was a bit embarrassing. He had no clue what he had spelled.Oh boy,you never know what funny things kids are going to do or say.

It's a wonderful life!

Okay,in my last post I said that I dislike mornings, that's not true.I love mornings I just hate arguing with Shaiann.I secretly thinks she enjoys arguing though:)
OH have you ever just had one of those moments when even though things around you might be crazy or going wrong you just truly enjoy life?Well,I am having one of those moments.I was listening to the kids fight with each other before school today and I just sat here thinking,I would not know what my life would be like without my children.I could not imagine! They are my world. If I didn't hear them fighting in the morning,I would miss it.If I didn't hear their laughter anymore,I would miss it.I thank God everyday for allowing me to have them and enjoy every moment with them.Sometimes we all take for granted the things that we are used to having and don't think much of it.But life without our children would seem unbearable.

Mornings and Make up

I really dislike mornings.Every morning my wonderful children think that they need to argue as loud as they can with each other and every morning Shaiann and I have the Make up argument.
She has been wearing make up for about a year now and I have been wearing make up for a bit longer than that. For some strange reason she thinks that your face needs to be much darker than you actually are.You see Shaiann is very pale, her hair is strawberry blond and she does not tan.But Ash'Lee is naturally tanned.Shaiann thinks that her skin is to white so she uses Ash'Lee's make up which in turn makes her skin look very orange, kind of like an umpalumpa. She thinks that this is a good look for her because she thinks that it makes her looked tanned.I tell her that her face looks very dark and orange but she disagrees.Last week she had so much make up on that her face was extremely orange and she wanted to stay home from school because she said that it would take to long to take it off and put it on again. So she went to school with an orange face. She never believes me when I tell her that her face is orange and that when you are wearing make up it shouldn't look like you put it on with a shovel. But of course she knows so much more than I do.So I just let her go to school every day with an orange face waiting for the day that she realizes that orange is not her color.Oh fun mornings thank God for school!

Funny how different kids are

Isn't funny how different your kids can be.My three kids are so different from one another.Ash'Lee is my oldest, she is my sweet girl, very caring, very smart, likes being in band, she is in science club, studies hard,I mean she does any amount of extra credit she can get,she has good friends, and she is very helpful around the house, she likes to joke around with her dad, but she thinks that she is to old to cuddle with me.Then we have Shaiann please don't let her name fool you she is not shy at all.She is sweet too(when she wants to be) but she is my wild child not that I think this is bad.She is outgoing, speaks her mind, acts tough but really misses me when she is gone, she also is helpful around the house, very smart gets good grades, likes to play rough, but also likes to cuddle with me still, she doesn't joke around except with her sister. And last we have my one and only son.He is very active, or is it hyper?Well,he is the jokester in the house, loves to play jokes on people,he too is very smart, loves math, loves to be outside,he is definatly a daddy's boy, likes to spend as much time with his dad when he can, likes to play with his sisters even if that means bother them until they chase him around the house yelling at him and he still likes to cuddle with everybody.
They all are different and I enjoy everything about all of them.Even when they drive me up the wall. They all have their wonderful sides and they all like to push my buttons now and then.Ash'Lee is funny because she talks to Ray and I about everything.Shaiann is embarressed to talk to Ray about stuff so she talks to me and Ash'Lee.And Brandon he will just talk to anybody, but I imagine that will change as he gets older but I hope not.I am very proud of my kids and hope that they will always feel free to talk to us about everything in their lives.

Messy room!

Oh boy!I can't sleep and tomorrow will be here soon.I was just laying in bed thinking about my kids.Well,I had to ground the girls tonight which my husband thinks maybe wasn't the right thing to do.See I told them to get their room clean because I couldn't see the floor, the tops of the dressers, and they had 3 glasses on the table! I mean it was a huge mess,so I figured they were cleaning well, because I told them to and you know, kids do always listen when parents talk. But anyways they were in their room for about an hour maybe a little longer so I thought for sure they must have been cleaning. When they finally came out I asked them if the room was clean? "yep everything is clean"was the answer I got from both of them.About an hour or so passed when I realized that during the time they had been "cleaning" I had not see them come out of the room with the glasses or the dirty clothes. So I asked them again "Is your room clean? Are you sure that you cleaned everything?" again the answer was "yes!everything is clean". I let it go at that.
I went to my mother-in-laws house with my husband and son,the girls wanted to stay home so we let them.We were only gone for 2 hours. When I came home both of the girls were sitting at the computer chatting with their friends which was no big deal. Well, they left their bed room door open and I happened to walk by and glance in,and guess what I found?! Clothes thrown on the floor!I turned on the light and it just got better. Not only were the clothes on the floor, there was not a sheet on the bed, pillows were on the floor, the 3 glasses were still in the same place, make up covered the one dresser while papers and books covered the other one! What had they been doing for that whole time that they were in the room I thought,I know it wasn't cleaning.Come to find out they were sitting in there watching "Twilight"! I was not very happy at all, especially since they had both lied to me not just once but twice. Needless to say I grounded both of them for a week.Ray thought that was to much but they lied to me twice!I even gave them a chance by asking them a second time.Oh well.At least they will have time to clean their room now.

Is it just boys?!

I am sitting here wondering,is it just boys that like to run around in their underwear? My son for some reason today has been in his underwear for a good portion of the day.I know that he started the day dressed but at some point he has lost his clothes. Now I am a little puzzled by this because it is a little chilly in the house and well,he is feeling completely comfortable.Even after his sisters have just given him a super wedgie!I have been telling him to put some clothes on but he of course has selective hearing today.I don't know maybe it's a boy thing.

Welcome to my blog

Welcome to My crazy world of motherhood!I thought this would be a good place to give a little insight and get a little insight into motherhood.Well,my experience in motherhood comes from my 15yr old daughter Ash'Lee,my 13yr old daughter Shaiann and my 8yr old son Brandon.I have to say raising these three has been a true challenge!I mean Crazy challenge.I am learning every day that God must have given us children for comic relief. You know, if you have a rough day just find a child to lift your spirits. Our kids do and say the most craziest random things you can't help but laugh ,even if you do it after you have to punish them. But I would hope that you would enjoy the stories of my children and share stories of your own.
